under Titan Legions pg 37, bottom of the box

"Chain of Command: N/A"

Ok, now that I've found it, what does it mean?
Looks like a pair of warhounds is no different from 2 separate warhounds
for most things.
(BTW it says the same thing under Chaos => War Engines, and they could
do it with Warhounds and those Slaanesh scout titans.)

I would also point out that even normally, you can go more than 30 cm's
from your HQ - you just suffer from being out of command, and I'm not
sure how those penalties would affect a war engine anyway.

As for the original question, using them under the reserves rules, I'd
say if you bought them together, they have to enter together ( at the
same point w/in 30cm) even though there's no HQ as they are _one_
detachment. By buying separately, you lose this requirement, but you
suffer a possible penalty in that they may end up coming in at different
times.
