Due to increasing boxes' price I suggest a more convenient basing system....
Boyz = 5 orks WITHOUT heavy weapon (ala Epic 2nd edition style :-)!
Shooty boyz... well I use both the lascannons and the beer keg heavy plasma for
this purpose... in a single ork's box you find 5 lascannon and 4 beer keg so
I'll base them 3 on a base with 2 normal boyz to fill the gap so you can field
3 units from each boxed set you buy !
Actually my shooty boyz base is 2 hweaponz and 3 boyz because I have a lot of
old Epic2nd ed boyz left !

Even less orks, I have 2 stand with one weirboy and 2 orks and the bases are
cut to the first 3 holes(it is a special unit after all !!)

It is a bit strange... I never have odd one left :-))))
BTW I use similar basing way for Space Marines and Imperial Guard... so
Tactical Marines are 5 marines, Devastator unit have one heavy weapon and so
on !
