        I find the Best technique to be paint base coat. wash with a very dark
color, black for almost everything , sometimes blue, brown. a thick
drybrush or base coat color, then a lighter drybrush of a very light color,
lastly add on detail. Most of minis look pretty good, considering I
usually don't like how GW paints minis. I use GW paint for the most part
because I bought so much out it about 7 years ago.

        I found that Ral Partha paints are excellent, If you can find them. The
Ral Partha Blood Red will go directly over black with 1 coat and look
great. Unfortunatley it's impossible to find here in South West Virginia.
I use brushes I find at MJDesigns. Usually they are very expensive but I
find once or twice a year they have humongous sales and you can get fist
fulls of brushes dirt cheap. They arent good for detal work but they are
great for base coats washes and DryBushing.
