MAATAC was a fairly simple game and line of miniatures originally made by
Superior Miniatures a number of years ago. It was fairly simple and
started as a companion ground side game for their star ship combat system
"Star Fleet Wars". Many of the miniatures were IMHO a bit big for use in
Epic. The smaller figures in the each of the lines were more
appropriated sized for Epic.

There were five different lines of figures - Humans, Carnivorians,
Entomalians, Aquarians, and Avians.

The original game system wasn't like Epic (either SM/TL or Epic40K). It
played more along the lines of some of the micro-armour rules that use
one miniature equals one vehicle representation.
