The idea of streamlining the unit types is a design choice that would not
have bothered me as much had it been done across the board, with all the
unit diversity given away as a sacrifice to the great god,"Speed of Play"
( really don't miss the ork/IG command rules)

I could have lived with 80% of ork vehicles= battlewagons _IF_ the same
had been done to the other races, like if the SM/Impy list would have had
a list like "Tank" which would have included Leman Russ, Preditor,LR,
Vindicator,etc and "Transport" that included Rhinos, Razorbacks and
Chimeras.

There was as much difference between the Ork stuff as there is between the
Impy stuff.

For a game that was to have been a "all you need is in the box" it was
very lite on fluff for the new gamers who knew nothing of the 40k
background. TL was much better in that area.
