As everyone talks about this topic, I thought I had to do the same, so

I agree. With Epic 40k you don't have to check your special rule numero x
every minutes!

Here I don't agree.
When you watch the SM/TL ork units you can see that there were many and
many useless units (because much of them had the same stats). This was not
the case with SM or IG which were to different armies. To illustrate this,
open your TL book : there are two stat pages for SM AND IG and two stat
pages for Orks.
You must remember that, as in SM/TL, many Epic 40k Imperial players like to
play a pure SM army or a pure IG army : you have as many SM units (or IG
units) as Ork units. It is well balanced.

I do agree with you on this point. The big default of the Epic 40k set of
rules is the lack of background but as we can see in the Battles Book, GW
wants us to buy WD and W40k Codexes... I hate all these marketing things!
