General comments: all measurements are longest hull length [ie, including
overhang].
Flash is negligible for virtually all models. Interestingly, metal color does
vary in shininess. Most models have LOTS of little bolter turrets on them.
Some have a bit of (intentional!) asymmetry to them, in the turret or in the
hull.
Okay ladies and gents, here it is:
Starting with the smallest, we have the TT05 Lightning. This is an APC
looking kind of thing. It's 1inch(2.5cm) long, and about 1.5cm wide. (all
measurements are longest hull length [ie, including overhang]). It has two
smallish bolter turrets (non-rotating), and on the upper rear are twin
autocannon-looking things (non-rotating). Detail: Good. Headlights a bit
sloppy, but they are on the mold line I think. Bolter turrets aren't that hot
from the side, barrels look like they're resting on supports extending form
the hull. (poorly explained). Hull sides are very good, as are the tracks.
Top guns are decent. I do wish they were rotating.
TT03 Monarch
An excellent one. 1.25in(3cm) long 3/4ths in (2.1cm) wide. . Carries 4
bolter turrets, and one larger rotating turret. Turret has a couple of
smaller heavy-bolter types next to main gun, which is like an AC on steroids.
Large radar dish on turret, well detailed. Smaller bulbous turret containing
a heavy bolter below main turret. Two track sections. Both well done. Upper
hull is very good. Lower hull, containing cockpit, is not as good. Turret is
truly the winner on this one, with lots of little electrical bitz everywhere.
The whole impression is very much like a halftrack.
CT85 Wolverine
1.3inches(3cm) long, 1.1inches(2.6cm) wide. Model has (generally) the most
flash. Turret has forward incline to it. Will have to be glued in place,
IMHO. Overall, not much detail, but I like the looks of this model. (The
lack of detail could be due to the Carnivorans less-advanced status in the
MAATAC universe.) Makes a nice complement to the Cyclops MBTs.
TT06 Cyclops
1.5inches long (3.3cm), 3/4ths inch wide (1cm) Note: Gun is very long on
this, making total length, gun forward, to be 3inches (5.5cm). Nice cluster
of sensor arrays surrounding main tube. Cool dish to the right of gun.
Tracks are incredible, IMHO. Tank hull is decent. Turret is dominated by
gun, strangely enough. Rest of turret is ok, with some extra ammo paniers on
back left. Makes a nice sight on table top, especially when grouped with its
23 fellow Cyclops.
WT62 Snapper
1.4inches long, 1 inch wide. Very impressive looking. Has 7 total turrets, 1
rotating. Lots of little crew bubbles. Very amphibious looking, due to squat
appearance. Turret is pretty good. Overall, lot of good detail, including
what look like vision ports on crew bubbles.
TT0 Devestation
3.25inches long (5.6cm), 1inch (2.6cm) wide. 10 total turrets, including two
large twin barreled main turrets. Tracks are divided into 3 parts, each with
two pairs of tracks. Most noticeable mold line, running horizontally alongst
tank, above tracks. Engine deck is very impressive, looking suitable for such
a large tank. Detail is overall pretty impressive. Only shipping problem was
the thin barrels of one turret were broken off completely. I'll be contacting
the Game Masters people about that. But, that was the only problem for a 50+
minis order. Pretty good.
