Yup. But I would suppose that these Land Speeder and Razorback drivers are
not in organisation charts.

A SM company - fighting men - are small enough as it is. Throw in Rhino
drivers, and a company might have an effective 90 fighting SM only. And if
one consider Thunderhawks, LandRaiders and so on, the numbers get even smaller.

I suppose the 1000 men is more of a guideline than a fixed, dead set number.

"I am sorry, all the SM are taken up at the moment. You'll have to wait
another 20 years (estimated) before we can slot you in. There is another 15
guys ahead of you. Or would you like to remain a scout or take up the
servitor's position in the meanwhile ?
