I don't like GW for the following reasons:

1) They cost to much. When GHQ micro armor is classed as a "low cost"
varient, you know you are dealing with pricy figures.

2) They can't write a good clear set of rules on a bet. Buy a copy of
a WWII micro armor rules (like say, Spear Head or Command Desicion 3.
Read them. Find a loop hole or a weapon/target mix that isn't covered.
You won't. Spearhead, the "simple" set of rules, has 50+ army lists and
400+ troop types.

You say you want SF rules to compare against? Fine check out ANY rule
set from GZG. Ground Zero Games makes figures as well, their cost per
blister back is 2.25 UKP.

Epic 40,000 is the best set of war game rules that GW has written, but
it still has several "missing" concepts in the base rules (i.e. effect
of BW on SHW, orders for WE)

And if you think I am going to un-sub from a mailing list that I have
been on for several years because I don't like Games Workshop, you, my
fine chaotic fellow, are high on crack.
