Whoops, then I don't agree about the paint jobs. Mine are pretty awful. :)

Seriously, I think I could use the black Doomweavers easily enough, though
I'm change 'em so they have some shading. I'd have to think about those
shiny green Tempests. But the heavy purple and lime green firestorms look
like they'd be effective anti-aircraft without firing a shot. :)

By the way, I went into a GW store for the first time yesterday, as we were
passing through Connecticut. It was nice, but I kinda like the cluttered
look of most hobby stores. I know that's something they try to stay away
from.

They had small tables with their various games, of course. They had a table
setup for Epic IG vs Eldar, with some ruins for scenery. The sales guy
seemed to like it. When I told him I had played the old game, he asked if I
liked the new rules better, and seemed surprised when I said yes. I bet
he's had a bunch of complaints. :) (He liked the new better, of course,
but I'm not sure he expected me to.)

My 14 year old nephew was with us (as well as my 3 and 5 year old kids). I
had expected the store guy to bee-line to him, but he certainly didn't seem
like the rabid aggressive type I've heard about. He didn't make us yell
"Waaugh!" or anything. :)

My son wanted me to buy some Necrons, but since I don't play 40K, I was able
to resist. :) He was happy I got him Varag Ghoul-Chewer for his Orc
Bloodbowl team. :)
