I have found that the fastest method of painting large detachments quickly
is to keep the painting schemes simple. To make up for this, I spend a lot
of time painting big and special figs.
In order not to get bored, I paint models from two or three detachments at
a time. Using this method, I managed to paint a 1,000 pts Tyranid army in 2
weeks! (1 Dominatrix and about 50 infantry and vehicle stands).
