Agreed!

SOME things are WRONG

SOME things are ILLEGAL

And while there is generally perceived to be a strong correlation between
the two categories, there really is no "a priori" relationship.

Politicians and bureaucrats would like us all to believe that there is a
perfect identity relationship between these two categories and any failure
in the match up is only due to the populace's failure to allow them to make
the "wrong thing" illegal. They could not have possibly made "illegal"
something which is not "wrong".
