I have to agree that this erata in FIREPOWER clarifies the issue alot.
Weapons like the Plasma Annihilator with 6x Death Ray shots have a FP of (6)
in a firefight and as such count as 6 SHWs since a single SHW has a FP of (1)
in a firefight,ie a single Death Ray has a FP of (1). Likewise a weapon like
a Pulse Laser with D3 AT shots has an FP of (D3) in a firefight. Basicly just
roll the D3 and that is the number of blast markers it takes to silence that
weapon for that turn.
