[Epic] Leviathan Miniature Question

I've recently acquired a 'Squat Leviathan' miniature (that's what the
sticker on the blister told me), and while the picture shows it painted in
Squat colours, it has an Imperial Eagle on its front. Was there an
'Imperial Leviathan' mini that was different, or were you supposed to paint
it differently for the IGs ? Or is this from the time that the Squats still
belonged to the Imperium, and that they actually invented the Leviathan, but
when the fluff separated the Squats from the Imperium, the Leviathan stayed
behind with both the IG and the Squats ?
