Yep, they changed it to a distance prescribed by a certain number of
wavelenghts of a specified pure light laser source within a vacuum ... held
at the National Bureau of Standards labs in Boulder Colorado ... ooops they
changed the lab's name to the Dept of Commerce labs ...IIRC.
