Hi, here I am, after be gone for a full year.
During this year I played only Blood Bowl, that's why I leave this mailing list.
But now as Epic 40k is coming, I 'm ready to start again!

First of all a question, are I dreaming or what, is the list going to die??
I had only a few mail, when I leave last year, I had about 100-120 mail per
day!!!
Another thing: every one on the list seem to grunch about the new Epic!! Why??
Could some explain me what is worth with it????

I played Chaos, the problem with them is that they are slow, very slow, so
against
IG you have a lot of chance if you can reach the CC before your opponent has
wiped out
all of your guys!!!!
What I've done, is tp play ork with chaos, I don't know if you can aka the
rules, but!!!
With such a combination you can field your army with speedy (!!!) ork troups
and crunchy
chaos guys!!!
What I prefer with chaos is Kohrne with his damned engines, they are
absolutly perfect...
if they survive long enough to come close to the opponent.
Chaos has a lot of troops with heavy CC, but is a little poor with speed and
long range
fire (especially with heavy save modifiers!).
They have one of the cheapest tactical stands with 10 pts per stand (I think
it's the
slanesh guys, but I 'm not sure).
Chaos is the second crunchiest army in the Epic world after the Tyranids!!

About tyranids, I collected a 7000 pts army, but I never played a battle
with so many
tyranids, so I'm not the best tactician with them!
All I can say is that they have a phenomenous CC, they are rather speedest
as chaos,
but they suffer a lot of casualities before starting gaining victory points,
don't forget
they gain double the points when destroying fiends, and no points for
controlling
building, forest...
One of their strenght is the spores, with them you can land where you want
onthe battle field.
But against IG, a lot of your spores will be destroyed cause this damned
anti-flyers weapons!!
If you still played Ork you had often problems in giving right orders to
your troops, cause
you always had to keep some comand stands near you troops, with the tyranids
the problem
is even greatest, cause you have less command stands, so you have to plan
correctly
your attack if you want that all of your units will do something during the
battle.
Here all the battles are during 2 turns, so if your placement was wrong...
Glups!!!!
