just wondering what size tables you all play on.
we've been on standard 4x8s and have found that a little
too narrow for E40K.
     
right now we are trying to find some 6x8s to try. otherwise
you can march move almost completely accross the table
(which worked to my advantage when my opponent does so...
just leaves himm WAY open for a serious charge attack!)
     
     
     
     we're using 4x6 and will be stepping up to 4x8 when the games get to
     2500+ points (maybe even 2000+). If you think the teable is too narrow
     because some of your units can March quite a distance (Bikes!), bear
     in mind that they can also get shot at a whole lot easier too... Also,
     marching slower vehicles (Land Raiders) won't make such an impact.
     
     Another alternative to playing on a 6x8 is using the 'Escalating
     Engagement' scenario.
