For the metal, Pine-Sol works great (or a Pine-Sol substitute that's
stronger). Easy-off Oven Cleaner (Cold Formula) also works well on
metal as well as plastic. Pine-Sol will work on plastic, but you have
to be careful. If I use Pine-Sol on plastic, I never leave it in for
more than 1 hour at a time. I've had no problems this way, but it's
not a guarantee.
