If he keeps the Scout outside 30cm, I thought any results would apply
only to the scout (e.g. losing firefight, losing combat). The main
detachment shouldn't break or accumulate blast markers for the scout
unless the scout is within 30cm.

I liked the flavor of taking the farseer, but I definitely favor low
cost units in general when facing folks with anti-tank shots. Eldar
infantry can get very expensive - they do their jobs well, but die
easily.

I love the eldar dreadnought and would absolutely take it over a
warwalker. The extra 4 points is worth it to get that 4 assault if
something hits you in CC.

FWIW, I also believe b) on both is the right answer.
