it's also in the rules as yes
someone can back me up with a page #
but it says
transports may carry units from other dets
hence a war engine with the transport ability
WEs are a det on their own w/out support
so what would be the point in giving them the Transport
ability otherwise
also see the rules on orks hitchin a lift ...
