The rules for a barrage are clearly stated on p32 of the rulebook:
"...you must cover at least three trooper models for an infantry unit
to count or _any_ part of a vehicle or war engine."
Anthough this may sound a bit too generous, it must be remembered that
the effects of artillery on vehicles has been reduced in the new
edition.
