[Epic] Terrain making tip

Hola,
After numerous hours of experimentation with various glues while
trying to make terrain bits, I've finally found what for me works
by far the best - adhesive caulk. We had some of this stuff lying
around after patching up the bathroom, and I picked it up the other
day and noticed it said 'adhesive', read further and saw that it
can bond to styrofoam without melting it, is paintable (even with
oil-based paints), is safe to work by hand, and washes off with water.
After trying it out, it has an excellent putty-like consistency which
means it doesn't run where you don't want it to go, and you can even use
it like clay to fill seams and round corners.
I looked in the hardware store the other day, and there seem to be
endless varieties of this stuff for sale, and it's dirt cheap compared to
hobby cements and such (you just need to buy the caulk gun to use it).
Be carefull to read the packages thoroughly though, as some of them have
nasty solvents and are not safe to work by hand, or melt plastics.
You're probably best off avoiding the serious construction adhesives,
the ones that say you can build houses with them. The one I'm using is
called 'Seamseal', but as I said there are dozens of similar products.
