Hi!

You are correct in part, unfortunately their has never been a fair and legal
way to pair off, to exactly what stands do you pari them off to? To which units
do "extra" units go? I have been down this lane too and it has no easy answers.

One thing that annoys me about the epic system is exactly how ambiguos the
close combat system is, it tends to be undecisive and full of problematic
situations. Pinning and order of resolution of combat can be interpretated many
different ways according to rules new and old.

I'd start of ways of changing this whe nthe time comes, of course its no easy
tasks as veteran netepic members will remember. We put forth loads of alternate
systems all failed to pass majority vote.
