Yea, your'e right.

However, playtesting is half the fun of playing! What has happened with
Slann here in Norway is that we mostly play pure Necron armies. Believe me,
that is quite a challenge!!!! They have been drasticly reduced, from their
earlier "superhero" characteristics. And the Necron army might not be suitet
to field alone. However, it is a hell of a lot of fun! The reason why we
where able to get the Slann done, was that some players really liked those
armies and really stood up to "protect" the army. By the looks of it, that
is not going to happen with the Dark Eldar or the the TAU. (Not now anyway,
but perhaps later).

I'm sort of missing a lot of the old guys in the discussions, the italian
connection, warprat, weasel fierce and hellreich.

Hi!

Hmmm...in a sense...not really. As you'll remember the Slann did not become
"core" until after more than a year of testing and extensive arguments. So
while you can certainly play them, they are not final until everyone has had
their say and changes (as necessary) have been made.

Yepp, however, Dark Eldar and TAU will be core!

Hi!

No worries, as with everything, its optional. Heck its been a long time
since we made anything core.
