Why ON EARTH is the presupposition that it will be "overcheese"????????
Especially when those units would be OPTIONAL. Repeat: O-P-T-I-O-N-A-L. How
many people have EVER used those optional Leman Russ variants I made? Or
those optional new chapter rules for that matter? I sure haven't gotten any
playtest reports.
Besides, I'm really surprised if, even after the new armies are complete,
most people won't continue to play in the age of Imperium when they're not
around. Like Rune said, this is all about having more choices. It's easier
to leave out something which exists than trying to get in something which
doesn't.
