taxing the wallets of the players kill the sales of anything they through at
us. tossing items at new customers works better. It can be the best game in
the world but when yuo compete with your self you don't end up with a
win-win situation. RPGs can suck up some cash but noth like wargames. It
times a lot of time to move a gmae in the market place. Being gamers we
always want more new marterial. That goes for anything from sony playstation,
CCG, AD&D and 40K. TSR failed at there will be only one set of books. Most
of the games have a chance at a come back. But it takes time for the players
to build on it. Also some areas support the hobby better than others. NorCal
is awesome. with four stores that support in house gaming Between them there
are leagues for WHFB, 40K, Mordenhiem, Gothic, Blood Bowl, 40K CCG and even
Necromunda. There are tournaments for warmaster and Epic in my neck of the
would with a fairly good turn out. Some of the stores here have had 34
players turn out for a event.

while in other places they are lucky if 12 players show up.
