<grin> No, GW didn't clear it up, but then thats no surprise. Grey knights are expensive, 400 for 4 stands. As far as I can remember I've always let them have any orders. It does make them useful, but no overly so. Regarding not using first fire, I don't agree. I have read plenty of fluff where they materialize and shoot to pieces whatever is there...sounds like first fire to me. Any limitation of what orders they take makes them worthless, they are barely useful as is, since they only are fielded against chaos. From a game balance point of view I'd leave them with the orders options, after all don't even have psychic abilities, just a psychic save. Not much of a grey knight.....
