Hi!

Actually your no more than 6 stands fit on titan legs and the stomping
are the only rules needed. The more I think about them the more I like
it. Simple and effective.

I really hate the "screen infantry" style, seems too "WH Fantasy" :)
maybe 'couse as an eldar general I don't have "non valuable" infantry to

waste just to screen a titan (and Eldar titans must continuosly move to
survive) instead a better "long range" unit can cover more than one
friendly detachment/unit so is more flexible and effective

I don't think that a little change on Titan CC rule could be umbalancing
or
cheesy, just give the Titan his normal CC endurance, this is not an anti

infantry "weapon" just a way to avoid the "I have a bounce of stands to
waste" tactic (nobody knows the Catapult-Tank civilization paradox?)
Something like the stomping rule make the titan an harder opponent but
not
so hard to be invincible, the screen tactic and the swarm tactic are
both
annoying tricks with no strategy at all.
I think our intent is to get rid of those style of combat.
The idea must be developed but could be not so bad we have only to
playtest every proposal.

Until now none of my Titans were killed by swarmig infantry (mmh, ok,
just
a scout titan by a librarian mind blast ^_^) so I don't have this
problem,
BTW it's very odd that a single titan can be so vulnerable, for example
the
"no more than 6 stands" rule could be reasonable.
