should read 3 regimnets equals a division
I personally base my imperial gaurd only on regimental levels.
my structure is this
Regiment: 357th Assualt regiment
contains 3 battalions: 1/357 , 2/357 , and 3/357
each battalion contains 5 or 6 companies
alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo, fox
thus my unit flags look like this
1/357
A
any way above regimnetal level Peter probably gets to make the rules. I don't know anyone else who can field a Corps of IG

some command structures skip the brigade levels and 3 regimnets equal a brigade. Lots of this will depend more on the era of warefare more than any thing else. I'm not a 100 percent sure but i believe neither the germans or americans used brigades very often in WW2

Hi!
The source I cited said 8-11 brigades with 3-5 brigades of
infantry.
Of course I've seen several sources say different things.
Hard to say, since usually anything more than a division in size is
usually not fixed in terms of ToE.
If memory serves me.. it's
3 Platoons = 1 Company
3 Companies = 1 Battalion
3 Battalions = 1 Regiment
3 Regiments = 1 Brigade
3 Brigades = 1 Division
Anything upwards from a Division usually forms the basis of a Corps or an
Army. Again it depends on what the HQ has in mind. This is fairly rough
and doesn't really reflect all the assorted support units and all that
make up the units.
