Hi Peter,
Thanks, as I said to Christian I'm not about to try this myself, but after
seeng both armies in action i believe that Orks will have a hard time taking
on chaos. I just wanted to know if someone has pulled it of, and obviously
some of you have! Thanks for the good answeres I'll make sure our Ork
warlord gets them!

Hi!
Wow! That's a seemingly short question with a HUGE answer.
Yes, I've beaten chaos with orks. Here's some points:
1. You are both close combat armies, but you're stuff is cheaper than
his. Go for number, tons of goffs and snakebites with good CAF. The
thing is to engage him quick, which should be easy, since he wants the
same. You want to swarm and OBLIGATE him to use his cards EARLY.
2. Wierdboy towers. Bring two protected by deflector dragsters. Mind you
it's a gamble, you may be unlucky and roll "6" and watch half your army
go down the tubes. But it's a risk worth taking. Fully loaded you get 8
attack dice hitting on a 2+ and -5 save. This means he will hardly save
and waste many cards (remember it's a physical psychic attack so he must
expend TWO cards per one failed save). If done right you can decimate
his demons in short order, no other army has this ability.
3. Artillery, chaos lacks it, you got it, use it. Pulsa rokkits and
plaster his massed formations of buildings with troops. Use hop-splats
for the same reason. Harrass.
4. Don't go gargant crazy, one is enough and depending on points maybe
not even that. Go for troops-not titans.
Those are but a few.
Peter
