Very true. Epic has the worst adherence to scale of any game out there
so using 6-10mm will usually work out okay.

I have found no mention of the scale in the GROPOS rulebook. However,
even the GW Epic isn't (IIRC) pure 6mm so unless the vehicles are
_really_ large I wouldn't worry about the scale.
