Those are my personal answer to your questions.
First :a titan is a titan. Does not matter if the titan is a chaos
one or tyranids one .

Second : a weapons who slay a regenerating creatures inflict as many
wounds as the model has. So if a creature with x wounds is hit
again ,the creature must regenerate 2x wounds.
