Lol! There's always those who like to stretch the rules! I think we can
revise the templates when titans are done to fix that, its very simple
to do.
As to your second question damage modifiers apply only to the original
hit not to any "flashbacks".

The only reason I post it is that one person I know leave the Titan
in play and continued to fire with it stating that "it's not written
that it is destroyed, only that collapses to the ground!"... -_-'
I think that all damage tables either destroy the Titan/Prętorian
when a 6 is rolled on ANY location (barring specific mention it
won't) or grant a damage roll on another location.
One thing... if I hit the weapon of a warhound titan with a Volcano
cannon (+3 to damage rolls) and roll 6 the weapon is destroyed and
I've to roll either to the Head table or the Reactor table. This
second roll is still modified by the volcano cannon's +3? I think
not...
