As the discussions and poll regarding the chaos army lists divisions winds
down we need to settle on what EXACTLY does the CSM have a right to,
according to the fluff or otherwise.



This is the list of things we have now:


Land raiders
-> The original main battle tank for the legions. I have no problem with
them using these.

Rhinos
-> The original armoured transport for the legions. I have no problem with
them using these

Bikes (regular ones)
-> This is fine by me, but I would remove the bolters, instead of twin
linked bolters the Chaos bikes wield them one handed if I remember
correctly. I would just skip that and give +1 caf to represent chainswords
etc, it also gives more variety between Chaos and Imperial marines.

Dreadnought (chaos variant only)
-> Dreadnaughts are cool, but I would have at least one dreadnaught type
per chaos power... (CC for Khorne, +1 save for Tzeench 'all is dust',
Assault cannons or flamer type virus weapons for nurgle, siege weapons for
Iron Warriors) I couldn't think of anything for Slaanesh, well apart from a
dreadnaught dancing around with a huge gettoblaster, but I am not sure how
appropriate that would be :p.

Predators
-> These are later vehicles aren't they? I don't imagine they were in the
original roll out for the legions in the great crusade, I would skip
them... they already have land raiders.

Vindicators
-> This is a modifaction, make it a special card for all except Iron
warriors who have it as support.

Whirlwinds
-> The original artillery for the legions. I have no problem with them
using these, they are pretty light as artillery goes anyway.

Landspeeders
-> Tough, but I would let them have them, they are good support. But seem
fair to me.


And of course?..



The thunderhawkgunship.
-> These were common in the fluff too, I would keep them but make them a
special card to maintain balance.

-> I would limit the amount of daemons legions can take too.... maybe one
daemon card per company?
