In Space Marine battles there are some pages on tactics for some armies, and I remember there was a white dwarf (US ed #177) with an article on SM armies with strong points, weaknesses, how to beat them and some more comments. The comments where too GW IMHO but could be of some use for beginners. Indeed, a revision of this article could be useful.

Cool, well if I create a blueprint how about we work on a Tacticus Imperius and a Tacticus Slann?

      Hi,
This is a Great Idea! However, having played most armies (IG, TG, SM, SW, SoB, Slann/Exodus, Necrons, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Orks and Chaos....) I've found that there is almost no universal tactic for any one army. I've played most of my games with the Guard, and they espesially have such a wide range of units that you could taylor your army to best suit your opponents.
Well I'd like to give Slann/Necrons a shot, since I believe that there is'nt all that many slann necron players out there. Reallife permitting of course...... perhaps Rune would like to chip in? Wath say you??

Unfortunately it's been so long since I last played I don't remember any good tactics any more. :( Not that I ever was a good tactician, mind you...

          Hi all,
I thought a useful article for the EPICentre would be a Tacticus Imperius, basically a listing of:
            1.. General strategies
2.. A unit by unit breakdown of strengths and weaknesses
3.. General tips against different armies.
I am quite happy to do the Dark Angel/Generic Marine lists, but I have no experience of PDF and SOB, with only limited IG experience. What do you guys think? Especially as everything has gone quiet on the mailing list :D.
