The idea is, that they worship the Chaos as a pantheon, and take into account not only the great powers but also the lesser ones (The Word Bearers are especially adept at this). Pros: you can choose which one to appeal for help and there's usually at least somebody willing to listen to you. Cons: you don't receive as much help from any single power as the ones wholly dedicated to him.
