Hi!
<groan> It seems I was premature in saying things were solving
themselves, obviously there are still "issues".
Please keep in mind that changes occur slowly, we all do this for free
so it's done when we have time, therefore if votes or opinions change
something it sometimes takes weeks if not months for them to change.
Also, when we make comments "try" to be sure what version you are
commenting on. I know it's hard to keep up with them sometimes, we all
have limited time, but keep in mind there may be changes from version to
version.
In addition, no book is finalized without a final go through with an
"approval" vote to see if it passes muster. Please refer to the original
e-mail beginning the revision, but this does not occur until all books
are finalized. We are human, we make mistakes, that's point of talking
it out and revising things again and again. Just because the chaos
revision or other book is "over" is not to mean the book is "done", it
just means the end of talking about one subject and moving on to
another, and previous book and topics can always be revisited.
Antichrist, calm down, nothing that shouldn't be in the final
manifestation of the book that doesn't belong will not be included. I am
aware of the extra ideas and things Jar puts in there, but I also know
which were agreed upon and which aren't (remember I too have all the
e-mails and poll results) and Jar removes them as we go along. So don't
be angry and comment freely, rest assured your comments and worries have
been heard and dealt with.
Jar, as you stated you are opinionated, which is fine by mean because I
need as editor someone who gets things done (as you have demonstrated
already), but in order to allay any concerns, from now on either attach
as an appendix or duly annotate any ideas or comments that are your own
and not discussed or voted on, this way people know what's what.
Unlike usenet we have successfully maintained such difference of opinion
under control, civil and in the end constructive. Let us not lose
control Of our emotions and temper, it's a game after all and we are
here to have fun, not get mad at each other.
Hopefully what I have stated above to resolve the problem will be
sufficient. Of course if there are more comments to further fix the
current problem I would like to hear them.
Remember guys, I always try to listen, even if I don't post that often,
I am always around.
Peter

Yes, because I thought all the updates were optional rules or minor
corrections, since no mention of them was in the mailing list. Sorry
if I have a real life, and can't each time download and proofread all
the damned 51 pages. I complain that _non-optional_ things have
changed without a poll, a discussion or anything, if you are able to
understand. And don't worry, my quotient is well below yours...

origional rules I seem to be leaning towards. I've been playing
with 'em and I'm having to agree with some of your origional points.
But hey *shrug* if you'd prefer to ignore the group, go for it. Bye!

The problem here are not the rules, and isn't me who is ignoring the
group, IMHO.
Bye.
