Hi!

Bad moon clan units stay on the equivalent of first fire orders so you
are correct no order is needed. Problem is it should not work like
regular first fire, but more like the "nest" instinct under the tyranid
rules where you cannot select targets but fire at the closest one as a
sort of defensive fire.

Hi,
I think you are incorrect here. Check the rules. The
Hop Splat gun doesn't need Nobz for commands unless it
wants to move again. It will keep on firing either in
the FF phase or Adv Fire phase (I can't remember
which) even though out of Ork command. Time to consult
the rules.
