Thudd guns are light artillery - Static can only be applied to heavy artillery. I'll have to flip through the various heavy artillery available, but off the top of my head none of them cost less than 200 or so. Though for a 200 point artillery, 50 points off is quite a chunk. Perhaps the discount should be 25 for a detachment, 50 for a company? Let me look at what's available, and make it an optional special ability in any case.
