Excellent.....it would make more sense to have the actual models on the
board instead of the current rules.

How will this work with AA fire ? We should be carefull not to blow the game
balance too much. How about transports??
The AA rules will no no change. Currently AA only fire once per unit that comes in range, so that they remain in the air means nothing since they only get shot once per battery. Next turn they may be fired at as they go for other missions. The balance in that aspect will not be affected. Same for transports. Actually transports will once again be useful since the current rules made their use difficult.
