Actually, the Supa
Gun has a 150 cm range, vs the VC having 100 cm
range.
Yep. Just remember that the Soopa Gun can't move, hence the 150cm
range.
For this Zzap gun,
I was thinking 100 cm range, 1 Attack die,
hit on a 3+, -3 save. Not sure about the penetrating part. Then say
about 100 points for one.
For your local games, sure, why not. Just make sure your opponents
know and agree.
For inclusion in the Ork rulebook, my vote is No. We already have
the Soopa Gun in the book which, knowing the Orks, could be anything from
a big shell-lobbing weapon to a huge laser-type cannon. We had the
problem a few years back of making new rules for every single different
miniature that was available from GW. At one stage we had no less
than 4 different types of Eldar Falcon that went under different names
and were all slight variations on the same thing. Thankfully, this
has been toned down now and I don't really want to go back to that.
The Orks already have a proliferation of units and the addition of one
more that would be so similar to a unit that is already in the book would
be overkill IMO. We don't really need to add another unit.
