Interesting question - tunnelers vs mole mortars

Here is an interesting question that a friend of mine posed to me. To
the best of my knowledge, I don't think this issue has ever been
discussed.

What would happen if you fired a mole mortar at a tunneler (Hellbore,
Mole, or Termite)? Would that be the equivalent to dropping a depth
charge on a submarine?

I am curious to see what you all think.
