Um, yeah someone at GW definetly OK'ed these books to be printed, and
since GW has NOT said their not canon, then logically, yes there canon.

Authors submit there stories to the editors who check for things
like "Is this canon?" along with spell checking and punctuation. They
then send the revised book back to the author with any suggested
changes they want to see.
