I carry entire armies in fishing tackle boxes.
The advantages are numerous:
many individual compartments
handle on top (other containers w/handles on side mean all your figures get jostled)
large area on bottom for titans, praetorians, buildings, templates, dice, etc
big enough for entire armies in one container
cheap to buy off-season
