i use fly screen ther are a few difrent kinds the fiber glass or plastice kind i use a 50/50 solusion of water and pva glue dunk the strip in and wrap around a pice of wire the desired thickness you could also try scoring them but you have to be very carfull not to break them. the metal kind is more expensiv but easer to work with hope this helps paul

It is unfortunate that things have trailed off so much on the forums. Is everybody posting elsewhere instead or just worrying about getting laid off? Ironically, having been laid off myself I now have more time to pay attention to the hobby.
Has anyone made razor/barbed wire terrain pieces? How did you do it? I'm working on some using the springs from old (and some ugly new) ball-point pens. This was recommended by a nice guy playing Flames of War at Endgame in Oakland, CA. I haven't decided if I want to add posts or not. Foremost I want it to look good so I am hesitant to use posts.
I've also recently started using clear bases. Has anyone experimented with this? My hope is the pieces will fit in any terrain, my fear is that the bases will simply reflect light at most angles. I've been using all these used (and not so used) plexiglass? welding shield cover plates. The good thing is that they are durable, the bad thing is they are durable. They are a pain in the ass to cut without some kind of small power tool. Scoring them deeply does not guarantee a clean break either. The best thing about the material is that I got a ton of it for free by picking up after spoiled welders.
Any thoughts epic pros?
