Got it. But what about the morale checks? If the company isn’t broken by
the heavy losses sustained by one of the detachments, the detachment itself
still breaks, has to make morale or go on fall back etc. correct? If the
company eventually breaks, I would assume all support cards have to make
morale checks at least when the company breaks. After that, are they
considered broken as far as morale is concerned or can they operate
independently? The morale issues don’t seem particularly difficult if you
are playing Marines, but if you are playing Guard or something with a
similar command structure it would really make a huge difference. Thanks!

The breaking point of a company is figured separately from any support
cards. If a company breaks the support detachments don't break and if a
support card breaks, it has no affect on the company.
As for the company itself, the breaking point is determined by the company
as a whole, not on an individual detachment basis. So, in your example, if
one detachment sustains heavy losses, as long as the company as a whole has
not reached the breaking point, the detachment is not broken and your
opponent receives no victory points.
