I think dodge is intended like a Titan that change position quickly,
swinging left-rigth-left right as the titan advance, or something like
this, movements that biggest titans cannot dream to do

I think we should judge pieces pro & cons not just from this :), they
have 2 shields only, so better you take down those little titans before
they get in CC with your stuff, maybe the real difficult it's the
slender shape of the template, not the -1 to hit, anyway maybe I don't
remember well the rules but, if I'm not wrong, warhound aren't allowed
to take CC weapons ...
