RE: [NetEpic ML] How to beat the Slann?

14 out of 20, that's a 70% win rate..... and if I understand you right,
thats when you leave the best units at home??? I do agree on the need for
speed when facing Slann, but have you ever tried assaulting vanguards? 4
shots (with 2 shots at 3+, Thats equal to a volcanocannon!!!!!) and + 6 CAF,
you'll need luck to get through to CC let alone survive the CC. Ok, you
could try to shoot them out, but then they've got a fixed 4+ save???

We've tried it now for three or four games, and found that the stats on the
Slann units are to powerfull! Eivind, by mistake, filled his hellbore with
twice the amount of berserkers, and still got creamed. And as for speed
goes, you can't beet a tunneller or droppods can you?

IMO every army should have a fair chance of beating any other army! And as
it is now, the Slann seems pretty unbeatable to me.

Now, I prefer to play with an underdog army. I still treasure the moment
from one of my first games, when a IG stand took a pot shot and destroyed a
Land Raider! It's those rare moments that I play for, and not nessecarily
for the glory of victory! However, I wouldn't play if there wasn't a
snowballs chance in hell to win the game!
