look gents with the personal experience i have via the USMC the act of close
combat would have to depend on training. the terrain would restrict what
weapons can be most effectively used. a bonus can be givin to a unit for its
training in a specific terrain, like s.m. veterans they fought in many
different planets & terrain that is why they have a high cc rating.
trainning might be the answer. this was addressed in the ig armybook for
40K.
