Hi!
Big games are a lot of fun! I have run several as demos at local shops and
conventions back in the good old days. The largest was 40000 points per side
and the game lasted about 7-8 turns. I tend to make games I referee go
swiftly by not letting it bog down. Of course 4-6 players per side in such a
big game helps too. I have used 2-3 4x8 foot tables for these games.
Someday I hope to run my dreamed 100000 points per side. I'd expect I need
at least 4-6 tables for this.

a year ago Stefano and I played a 15.000 pts battle of sm & squat vs ork and
it took around 2 days to play 3 turns. There weren't any big titan (so no
imperator or mega gargant).
Sorry but I don't remember the dimension of the battleboard :-(

How many hours do you think it is going to take, and how big is your
battleboard?

thanks for that offer (you know - to drop a line)
on sunday im facing a 12000 pts SM army.
i'll have to use a friends army and he plays orcs.
i have never played orcs and so i'm in trouble to chose the right
army composition.
i know that i will have to face an superior air-force (9 marauders,
12 thunderbolts and perhaps 3 thunderhawks)
all i have to put against that are 6 fighta-bommerz and 3 flakwagons.
so what chance do i stand (thought about using weirdboys?)
i'll have to field two mega gargants (its a campaign)
also available are 1 great gargant, 1 slasha gargant, 4 battle fortresses,9
stompaz, lots of goffs, badmoons, kult of speed, but hardly any snakebites,
deathskulls, blood axes or ordonary evil sunz
also got no dragstas
at least got lots of bonebreakers(about 30), and various other stuff
(including pulsa rokkits)
any advice concerning composition and tactics?
(i'll also have to face an imperator)
